I don't know if a broken camera is the best or worst thing I can imagine. Mine feels like an extension of me and I hate the idea of trying to live without it, but I keep seeing other people's features and going green with envy - although now if mine broke I couldn't afford to fix it - hope you can. @pandorasecho I'm taking pictures with a little Nikon coolpix (the other camera is now in Connecticutt and I'm optimistic that the warranty/service plan will take care of whatever happened) I got hooked on taking pictures with the little coolpix point-and-shoot; it was my bosom companion for more than a year. It's sort of like reconnecting with an old friend....
