@ethelperry the quilt was started from my brother's (and boyfriend's) discarded courdoroy pants when I was in high school. Somehow I still had the pieces and pieced it together when I was in my thirties. Then, about a year ago, I put on a backing and quilted it. This struck me as a sign we should all be optimistic, there is always hope. It may have taken more than thirty-five years, but it got done.
