Pre-weekend lull in the library by francoise

Pre-weekend lull in the library

Another for the get-pushed challenge from Mary Siegle: "your challenge this week is to shoot from higher up -- as high as you reasonably (and safely) can get, in whatever setting outdoors or indoors you choose." Nothing is too high up in these parts, at least nothing where I usually find myself. This is from the third floor of the library looking down at the empty reading room.

Fooled with several different white balance settings and wasn't thrilled about any of them...

This does seem a very high vantage point, almost monotone makes it quite easy on the eye

I really like this scene - replicas of circles and slanting light!
