Remember the days when pocket handkerchiefs, like matches, would magically appear whenever needed? They lived in people’s pockets or sleeves, and before arriving there, they lived in dresser drawers. Joe father kept a whole drawer full of large, clean handkerchiefs. The two dressers now live with us, but neither has a drawer that produces handkerchiefs.
Great shot of "home"! Looks and "sounds" familiar. I am a "hold over" from that era and have, not a whole drawer, but a spot for clean handkerchiefs and one goes in my pocket every day! (Thanks to my daddy!)
We are still living those days at our house. We have a chest of drawers with one drawer that houses clean handkerchiefs. It looks very similar to this picture you have shown us here.
Hi Francoise! I am your Get Pushed partner this week and Ive really enjoyed looking through your photos. You are a very talented photographer! I noticed in your calendar view in March, there are a lot of autumnal tones! My challenge to you this week is to photograph architecture but process it in such a way that your won and yellow tones continue to shine on your calendar view! Hope you have fun!
