Born in a Barn

This lovely little medicine cabinet holds syringes for the pigs and cows in Joe’s father’s barn.
When he is gone, it moves to a stepfather’s basement. When Joe’s mother is gone, the enterprising sister somehow overlooks the cabinet in her quest to bring all family treasures to her own house. A brother-in-law refinishes it and now it holds dental floss, soap and aspirin.
it has had quite the ride

Sad how some people overlook the real treasure of family in a quest to grab the physical leftovers. This little chest is lovely but it would be lovelier to have a sister who "poets well with others."

@pandorasecho lol! I feel your pain with spellcheck! It is for every doing stupid things like that to me.
@francoise I love the shot of the family treasure. Apparently his sister doesn't know what real treasure is.

Nice piece. It is sad people don't look at some things as a family treasure. Nice narrative to go with it.

It looks like a magical entrance...the sort of door that takes you to another world.
