Wild Columbine

Treatment doesn't quite do justice to the ethereal nature of this flower. Perhaps a lower exposure might have prevented the stronger contrast that occurred when I darkened the photo slightly.

I planted some columbine on one bank at our place outside of Clarksburg, but our boys pulled it all thinking it was a weed. I grew up in Colorado where the blue variety is the state flower. It has a special place in my heart. I think your image is lovely.
