still playing with flash. It was a Christmas present from Joe and did seem entirely intimidating. What I am most enjoying about it at the moment is the ability to take pictures in the house without having to resort to a tripod. Plus, it doesn't seem as difficult to get the white balance decent.

I also find flashes really intimidating. I can never seem to get them set properly so find I rely on the cameras flash too much.
I keep saying I am going to play with mine and it sits in draw. You'll have to bug me. There is a thing called rear curtain sync that can be fun to play with.
