@rfilip, my get pushed partner for this week, asked me: "What about panning shot?"...
Don't know if it's really what I was asked for'... I'll tell you something more about my attempt tomorrow... My eyes are almost closed, now I need to go to sleep!
Hi @frappa77 I'm your Get-Pushed-209 partner... Do you speak Italiano? always in a hurry... it will take some patience, I push you to take a self-portrait in low key
@fernandocrespo
Ciao Fernando! Felice di conoscerti! Sono italiana al 100% e provo a scrivere qualcosa in inglese! ;)
All the techniques are new for me, but I'm happy to learn and experiment! I'm just worried about the idea of the SELF portrait... lol!
I would like to ask you for a b&w picture, preferably a street photography... what do you think about it? :)
va bene @frappa77... ah! lei vive in Roma Italia, io provo a scrivere qualcosa in italiano ;) I' live in Valencia Venezuela
Why are yo worry about it? i saw you have some selfies
@shylaine3304@emma78
Thank you very much! It was so difficult for me to take this kind of shot... I'm not satisfied with the result, but happy about it cause I can try, try, try and try again! ;)
@fernandocrespo
Wooooooow! Bravissimooooooo! Parli italiano? Dal tuo nome, sembrerebbe che tu abbia origini italiane...
Don't care about me... I like to fool me! ;)
I really like that this plays with your expectations - so you would expect the ball hanging still and the background also but not so.
I think this is a set up worth playing with some more, once your weary eyes are rested!
If you could get the ball a little sharper & sunlit I think it would make a really cracking shot. Not sure the softness was the focus (try manual focusing & pre focus on where the ball will be), or if it is just movement from a difference in your speed and the speed of the ball.
I can add something more about @lizhammond said: keep the movement following the object after take the photo, reduce the shutter speed and increase of f number so increase the speed sensation and increase the sharpness,
@lizhammond@fernandocrespo
Thank so much for your precious suggestions! I'm so grateful for your support! The garden was a bit dark and my hubby (who kept the stick with the ball) and I moved with a different speed... it was not easy to be synchronized! To know what f number and shutter speed are it's a big conquer for me and I have understood more how to play with them... I'll try again and show you my results!
you really don't be to know this strange things! did you take the photo in auto mode? if you don´t take aware for this things: speed and f number. In auto mode you just try to follow the object as close as you can

Really inventive take on a panning, well done.
