Do you know where the rainbows come from?

I had a wonderful stroll throgh Rome with one of my sisters on a day that was supposed to be cold and stormy and was a spring like-day instead... I have taken this shot from the Pincio Terrace in Villa Borghese... I have seen the rainbow only at home and really don't know where it comes from! Anyway, I love it and find it a wonderful gift...
