This cathedral dominates the surrounding fenland landscape. Ely is on a small hill (the Isle of Ely). There has been worship here for 1400 years. The present cathedral was started in the 11th century.
Fantastic shot Rog. Really stunning. Definite fav. It's a very long time since I was at Ely Cathedral but I do remember being impressed. I think it's time for a return visit I think.
