Peony Seed Reflection by gardencat

Peony Seed Reflection

I love these big satin looking peony seeds. This one is reflecting the bright blue sky and maybe a sneaky selfie in there.
Cool shot!

What an amazing photo. Chris, with his obsession for tidyness, always cuts the dead flowers off before they do this. I must try and persuade him to leave them next year. Fav.

@susiemc I don't think anyone could ever accuse me of being overly tidy in my garden. That does have a down side, of course, but sometimes it gives me some interesting things to photograph. LOL

I must have pruned all my peonies, can’t find any seeds. Super shot.

@illinilass This is from a tree peony. If you have herbaceous ones you won’t get such big seeds and seed pods, you may get smaller ones, of course if you cut the flowers off to take them inside or dead head them when they fade then you won’t get any.
