Pillar on the Porch

“Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know that they are standing by.”

While waiting outside my grandson's preschool this morning, I noticed this interesting fretwork on a nearby home. The focus this week for black and white book club is thinking about shape, structure, tone, volume, form, and texture.

Thanks for your comments, my 365 friends. You truly are the pillars that are standing by to offer support.
Lovely collection of patterns, lines, and in black and white.

This is a lovely shot. I like how you positioned the post off-center. And the quote is great! Thanks.
