Today we were going to explore and find a lake we have not been to yet, but instead when we got closer to Lake Country we found a fire starting up and soon it was huge. Experinced a police car drving into a driveway beside us and using the loud speaker to tell the people to pack up and get out. My brother in law and sister in law have to evacuate their city - Williams Lake and now my other sister in law had to evacuate her home in Lake Country this evening. We need to pray for rain and for the fires to stop... I thought because of all the flooding the fire season would not be difficult this year but here it is the start of the season and already houses have been destroyed. Thanks for your prayers for BC.
So sad to see our woods going to ashes. These days the problem in Southern Italy is awful, fires everywhere and no rain. No rain!

So sad to see the extent of the destruction from the fires on the news. I read there have been nearly 37,000 people displaced by fires. We're all praying for B.C.
