I went to the bird sanctuary/park/pond this afternoon.
I wondered if I would see any birds as it was a cloudy dull afternoon- this morning was sunny and warm - but now it is getting colder again.
While I was standing there I saw some gaggles of geese take off and fly over to the bordering property. Soon after they landed I heard a very loud BOOM! And then all the geese came back to the pond. Very interesting to watch. What a noise too.
