Alfalfa?

I heard this bird squawking its heart out this morning and took a quick shot of it on the light pole. I was happy to see I caught him in mid-squawk and couldn't help but notice his little Alfalfa like topknot http://buttonmuseum.org/buttons/alfalfa-little-rascals
