Grateful Gecko

Cleaning the leaves out of the skimmer today I noticed this little (2"/5cm.) gecko struggling to stay afloat. At first he didn't want me to catch him but once l did he didn't want to get off. I eventually coaxed him off my finger and later found him in almost the same spot so of course I had to take his photo before he scurried away.
