Hyacinth à la Renoir by grammyn

Hyacinth à la Renoir

I went out too late and after the storm to capture a hyacinth already blooming in my garden and came up with this beautiful mess
I love it, it’s amazing on black.

It is beautiful, love the title

It would make a great textured background as well as a stand-alone abstract.

My first thought was a wonderful texture, love the colours.

I really like the colours

Money would've painted it like that too!! Glad you're safe, sad many weren't.

Pretty! Might make a nice background in a composite shot sometime.

I'm glad I came back to see you posting and ok- saw some aftermath pictures and wished I had a map handy to make sure they weren't near you! Yes, I think this might come in handy as a texture- and you can play around with the color too.

@louannwarren too good of you to give me that fabulous support, Lou Ann
@francoise I really appreciate that Françoise. Not nearly as good as some of your forest scenes
@theredcamera thanks bunches Ellen. Since the picture was pants I had to have a good title.
@taffy very kind of you to say Taffy. Feel free to use it
@ludwigsdiana I would be honored if you would use it in one of your fabulous photos Diana.
@Dawn so glad you like them Don. I think that’s the only redeeming quality of this one.
@kjarn i’m so glad you do Kathy. At least that part of it was good.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I had to pick one of them but you are right. Thank you for your well wishes
@mccarth1 if I can remember I will use it if I can’t please feel free to do so yourself. Thanks
@olivetreeann thank you so much Ann. It was at least 15 to 20 miles away from me in a couple of directions so really not a threat at all. The most we got out of it was some serious rain

As I have told others please feel free to use this in any way you can with your magnificent processing skills

This would also make a great texture photo for Photoshop!
January 17th, 2023
@myhrhelper Do you think they would want to buy it? As you can tell I have no idea how that works!
January 17th, 2023
@grammyn I don't know, you would need a collection. I try to get some shots I can use for textures in photoshop just like I try to take some cloud or sky shots to use when the sky in my photo is plain. A texture is an overlay on top of another shot that you may have a small % opacity to add a color cast or different feel to. Here is a video that shows how to do it and the difference it can make. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Etm_ZBvCnU
