Baby Blue Tongue Lizard ~ by happysnaps

Baby Blue Tongue Lizard ~

Shifted the rubbish bin to put out for collection & this sweet tiny lizard was underneath.
Mum/Dad are often under the hot water system which is opposite the bin.
1/2 hour later it was still there but, then gone & hopefully back with mum.

I think that would have given me a fright!

Great find and shot, lovely patterns on it's back.

Aw so sweet. I doubt it will be with Mum and Dad for long. Blue tongues give birth to about 10 or 15 live young and they are left to fend for themselves shortly after birth.
