@beryl Lots are green, Beryl, this variety has a hard & sharp body. He is a voracious eater. We have a greyish color one as well. They are all very unwanted in our gardens. Thank you for your interest in my project.
I always have an instant memory of my grandmother reaching out quick as a whip and grabbing these and snapping off their heads. Then a memory of one getting into a pocket of my dress as a child and me shrieking for a long time.
I do hate them as they eat so much, even if they are part of nature! fav this is a great capture :)
@skstein@koalagardens Thank you, I dont like them as they can decimate a tree overnight. These ones are so "sharp". Koala Gardens I wouldn't like one in my pocket either as they flap & click their wings UUGH!
