Granus Tower

This is a shot of the really nice Couven Museum in Aachen, the building is from 1661 but was 'renovated' into a more baroque style in 1791. More important for me is in the reflection in the window, which shows the Granus tower of the town hall. This is the only part of Charlemagnes original palace from 788 that still remains, and many believe it was the personal living quarters of Charlemagne in his palace.

I was thinking of submitting this shot for an Aachen photo contest (for Baudenkmalgebaude - protected buildings which is that little red-green plaque near the center of the photo), mostly because I think it is a little different than the standard photos of buildings, and I like that it captures two great parts of Aachen. I welcome postive and negative criticism.
