Lübecker ganghauschen! by harvey

Lübecker ganghauschen!

We had a wonderful place to stay in Lübeck, these small houses were built into alleys and courtyards in the 1600's when Lübeck had a great demand for housing for merchants. We rented to yellow one on the far left, it was 400 years old but newely renovated a few months ago. There were three floors with a total area of 70 square meters. Bottom floor kitchen, middle bedroom and bath, and the top floor was a living room with a great vaulted A-frame ceiling with the old exposed beams. It was a highlight indeed, and if anyone finds themselves going to Lübeck I highly recommend where we stayed: http://www.luebecker-ferienwohnung.de/galerie.php

I took so many photos in Lübeck but I get so behind in my shots if I wait until I sort/edit all the shots I want then pick the best one of the day. So I just picked this shot because it captures the nice place we stayed.
Wow what a charming street. Makes me want to go to Lubeck. Nice photo.
