I was out trying to quickly find a photo for the day and the kids that live across the street were curious about my camera.
After showing them different things it could do, A was still fascinated. The camera was still hanging around my neck, and he picked up the lens putting it directly to his eye. Alarmed, I told him how the lens is very fragile and how smudges could ruin photos. After the panic passed, I realized it could be a cool photo.
I held the camera close to his face. He was concentrating so hard on making a cool photo-- he scrunched up his nose and squinted into the lens. I love the scrunched up nose. I think he liked the outcome.
If I had it to do again I would have paid better attention to the light, focus, composition, but it was fun. I enjoyed spending a few minutes with the kids.
Thank you all! I love the freckles as well (and the scrunched up nose as well). Not a Glamourshot, but it was fun.
Gerry, we did see eye to eye :)
