Quick Snap

My first day back to work after taking some time off. I'm sooo tired. The taxi said they'd be 20-30 minutes late, so I figured I had 10 minutes or so. As soon as I pulled out my camera the cab pulled up. I got one photo and I'm too tired to do it now.

What's with the lines being all weird? The line of the pole is mostly/ kind of straight, but the windows are almost diagonal.
I suppose it's good that you didn't have to wait around for the taxi...

@alia_801 Yes. The first thing I said to the driver was, "You're here much earlier than I expected and it's _awesome_!"

A little more detail specific to this photo, linked to what I said in the thread. You're at an angle to that back wall, and that messes up what the camera reproduces. You could probably improve it somewhat with Photoshop or Gimp using their respective perspective tools, but it means you will lose something of the photo lower down (try it, if you don't understand what I mean). I got some advice from @janim about this kind of thing, and he told me to take a wider shot than you want, so you have some "spare" space to play with.

@kaesebiscuit Thank you. That does help. This photo isn't worth the effort in Photoshop, but it's good to know how to work with it in the future. I love that I learn so much from people (such as yourself) here at 365.

Good to hear what @kaesebiscuit says - it could apply to a lot of shots!

@herussell I'm only passing on what I've learned from others here :)
