Blue Skies and Arctic Blasts

We're having a heat wave today. It's 25 degrees right now. Unfortunately the wind is blowing so hard I can't tell the difference.

This was taken from the car. I tried taking photos of snow drifts, but the wind kept gusting the camera from focusing. Not an artistically great photo, but it's my world at the moment.
I think you did right to take this from the car - not to be envied, although it's prettier than our rain!

@quietpurplehaze Thank you, Hazel. At the time I thought sacrificing for a photo might be a good idea. As soon as I stepped out of the car I reconsidered.

I shivered with cold when I saw this photo. Brrrrrr. What extreme conditions you're having to contend with at present. Stay safe. Stay warm.

@hh Thank you, Kate. The general plan is to never leave the house again. I'm still hoping that when the wind chill warning is in effect the roads will be closed to all but emergency vehicles. Then everyone will be able to stay out of the cold.

@herussell Good plan. Bolt the door and re-emerge in Spring :0)

Love the view from your car.....but....wouldn't exchange it for our rain despite it looking prettier than mud!
