On October 6, 1955 a commercial United flight crashed into the sheer side of Medicine Bow Peak in southeastern Wyoming. A lot of wreckage is still in the boulder field. Today we hiked up there to check it out. Here is one of four 14-cylinder radial engines that powered the plane.
