Hard to tell from this cell-phone close-up, but it's a trombone sitting on its stand. I was intrigued by the angle of light and the purple color bouncing off the walls. I may try again in a few days when I can spend more time playing with the lamps.
No longer middle aged, and no longer taking pictures every day....but cannot quit yet.
