We've arrived in New Jersey, and I have finally been able to visit my mother who recently moved into long-term care. It was good to see her (up) but so sad to see how much she has deteriorated (down) but at least she is somewhere safe and clean (up) but she's not really happy, just surviving (down). Sigh.
No longer middle aged, and no longer taking pictures every day....but cannot quit yet.
