This is Traver Road, which winds through a city-owned golf course. All fall and winter the area has been undergoing renovations to stabilize the banks of the stream that runs through the course. Right now, with all the "grass grafts" and newly planted trees, it looks like someone just healing after a bad accident. If you look carefully, you can see the dirt hauling equipment still at work. I'm sure it will look better in a few months.
This road, which turns into dirt a few yards up the way, is the only street in the area, and it borders a nature center... so the course feels very "outdoors." The golf course is certified by the The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program.
No longer middle aged, and no longer taking pictures every day....but cannot quit yet.
