We got the clan together a few days after Christmas. Although she might not find it flattering, I liked this picture of the matriarch: still smiling--even after the stroke. She wore a beautiful sweater, did her hair up nicely, and wore her snowflake earrings. It's really unusual for me to do a photo of someone looking directly into the camera, but this time I think it worked.
