@gijsje He sang a mix of opera arias and some popular American songs. For years he sang in the local opera chorus (never the star), and likes opera best...but as his voice ages songs from the musical theater and such are a good choice.
@habit It was a very small room and I was sitting only a couple of seats back, and I didn't want to distract him. (Though I did record a few songs to share with family who couldn't be there.).
@houser934 No what is fun if you are bored? Shooting by your side. The more you work at it, the better you get. Works good with kids and perhaps some adults.
@habit Yes, that could be interesting...I do like taking photos with zoom from across the room to get more natural looks. In this particular case, thought, that camera was too noisy not to be noticed.
