Downy Woodpecker at the Feeder

Taken through the window screen and underexposed because I had the wrong settings. I really need to learn how to control this new camera pretty soon. Sigh. We have a pair of Downy's that come back and forth all day, so I will try again another day.

I have 5 of those. And a big one with a really read head. But now the squirrels eat all their food.

@vera365 Keeping the squirrels off the feeder has been a challenge (thus the clear "dome" over the feeder to keep them from sliding down the pole!)

I like his markings. I find birds to be my biggest challenge-takes lots of patience. And we can’t keep the squirrel off our bird feeder. Had to take it down for several days.
