Had a good walk today from Ashness Bridge to Walla Crag and back. The weather was better than forecast so instead of a stroll around the lake we went higher up the hill and when the sun broke through the views were great. Had to battle the strong winds once we were high up, good job I had the thermals on - unlike the guy wearing shorts we met at the top of the hill on who looked just a little bit chilly.
