Watch the birdies

I watched for a while to see the birds landing on the chimney pots, I wonder how they decide which one to go for when they've got so much choice!

We were in New Lanark, a restored 18th century cotton spinning mill village south of Glasgow. We'd driven past on the motorway so many times but decided it was time to go and see what it was all about. Interesting place, inspiring and thought-provoking.

There were lots of old photos of the mill and tenements displayed in the hotel so I decided to process this to give it the same look.
ooooh, I like this! Great perspective, and terrific vintage look. (I would have liked to see those old photos of the mill.)
