I was inspired by a presentation at the photo club this week from some creative photographers who showed us the processes used to make their beautiful artistic prints.
A lot of it was way beyond me but thought I'd try adding textures, layers and masks in photoshop. I learnt how to do all this before Christmas but not really used it since.
The blue tit is from a visit to a local nature reserve today and the textures are from walls and doors in an old house we visited a while ago.
I enjoyed doing this, now on to the next lesson...expect more faffing in future :)
@rosiekind thanks Rosie it's very satisfying when you create something you like.
I started with some Adobe tutorials on Photoshop to learn blending, layers and masks. We also had couple of presentations at our photo club from creative photographers who shared some of their techniques and had a few sessions on photoshop from one of the members at photo club as well.
Still so much to learn, I found there's a lot of different ways to achieve the same thing so having a few lessons sorted out some of that confusion.
Good luck and let me know if you need any other info, happy to help if I can :)
