Not sure this is the same in all relationships but the missus and myself walk at different speeds, resulting in me having to looking back and ask, can you not keep up? usually to be told that its me that needs to slow down. It appears this pair have similar discussions...
Haha. The family has to wait for me on a regular basis. 'Oh no...he is taking a photo again'... 'Dad! We're late for school'! 'No no, don't get down on the pavement; get on your bike, we have to hurry'... 'Go ahead boys, I'll catch up'.
I am a fast walker - until I have DSLR in hand - then whoever I am with just tries not to lose me - I usually have a camera with me but with my point and shoot its click and walk at usual pace most of the time hee hee
