Friday night was culture night when galleries museums historic buildings ect stay open late.
The organisers arranged for the cosmos to play its part by casting a magenta, mauve/purplish light as the sun sank over Galway Bay. Wonderful what can be accomplished now days. The big building on the left is Oranmore Castle one of the places you could visit on the night
