Is there really a phone in that booth? We don't see many of those around anymore, now that everyone seems to have a cellular device. I hope you see more sun soon. :)
@novab this is a phone for people crossing a railway line, you can report an accident on the line or check if a train is due. Phone boxes are pretty rare here now . God how things have changed, our home phone when I was young was 302 and you needed an operator to connect you to another number. I sometimes the old days but would probably be the first to complain if we had to go back...Have a nice weekend Nova..
@jack4john When we moved to the farm in the country when I was 7, we had a crank phone, with a party line. I had no idea how to use it and our ring was "two long". I don't think I'd want to go back to those days either and I really like having a cell phone, but never use it to call anyone. LOL A great weekend to you too John. I hope the sun comes out for you!
