Alcock & Brown crash site

John Alcock and Arthur Brown made the first non-stop transatlantic flight in June 1919.They flew a modified First World War Vickers Vimy bomber from St. John's, Newfoundland, to Clifden, Connemara, where they crash landed after 72 hours in the air.
This is a picture of the crashed plane which is on glass like a transparency , when you look through you are looking at the scene as it would have been on June 15th 1919. If you need to know more here is a link
