Saw a video on line on how to take the image layer out of a Polaroid , leaving you with a flimsy near transparent layer a sort of ethereal picture. So I had a go, If for any reason you would like to see how its done I include a link. There are a few layers in a Polaroid , a bottom negative one above it a layer of goo which causes the flimsy picture layer to develop and a clear plastic layer to protect the whole thing, all encased in the white border. It can be hard to spread the picture layer flat ( I can't make the bed so, clumsy fingers) but the curled up part adds to the whole.. thanks for stopping by ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pMpD8a2DmI
Well done John - what a great job. I've watched the video and it looks really interesting and fun! I fancy giving it a go now, so watch this space...! :-)
Makes it look all arty -- kind of like an impressionist painting. How are you finding the whole Polaroid experience? I have been tempted, but so far common sense (or maybe recognition I need to master the too many lenses I already have) has held me back.
Damn... now I need to add a Polaroid to my wish list. 😊 I watched the link anyway, its so interesting and does look a lot of fun. I Can see lots of possibilities here.
