Burren by jack4john

Burren

The Burren is an area of hard limestone rock that covers a large area of coastal Co Clare on Ireland's Atlantic shore. The large cracks in the rock are called gryks the rocks themselves clints. I used a 9mm lens to give the scene an epic scale. It is a place I love to walk, completely untouched by human hand .
Oh I love this! Perfect for that wide angle distortion! Perfectly shot!

Bleak terrain, bleak sky! Took me back to my school geography field trip to Malham in Yorkshire, where the same terms, clints and grykes, are used. Nice use of the lens too.
