Jacq,that's more than a bit of faffing. And I should say how pleased I am to see the word "faff" back in regular use, and by a non-UK resident as well.
@peadar Hi Pad, it was not to much work and a lot more interesting than the original. I liked the word faffing so much seeing it used by some friends in Australia that I started using it myself. Beforehand I looked up the meaning 😉 spend time in ineffectual activity.........🤨 is that what we’re doing?
@jacqbb Well, it is one of those words which has slightly different meanings. The way you used was really English, I think, and quite charming. Not ineffectual, but self-deprecating. Modest. Slightly exasperated. A sense of wonder at the result. 😀
