This plant ( Sarracenia × catesbaei ) is carnivorous....... it closes its lid when a fly gets in.
I've always thought of those plants as scary :-).

As a kid, I was very scared of them. At a visit to the botanical gardens, the teacher told us, that they where meat eating plants......pretty scary for a kid!
