The weather is so foul here at the moment - grey skies and rain. My white blossom against white sky wasn't so exciting. I was going to delete this but noticed the raindrop in lower left middle - so I added color just to the drop. Does it work? Better if I left the entire thing in color? I don't have photoshop so restricted to Picasa very limited editing options.
My humble opinion but the light through the blossom is so stunning that there is little need to selective colour your eye has such a feast of tones to digest without : it's wonderful without tinkering !
This is beautiful, Jan! I like the way you edited it. I use Picasa, too and have not attempted selective coloring. I will have to play around with it. It's a very cool effect. Love how the water droplet is perfectly in focus!
