Garden tools. by jankoos

Garden tools.

Very little time for pics today - summer has arrived and lots of weeds in my garden - spend much of the day weeding before rushing off to dinner with friends.

I am very behind in responding and commenting - will catch up in the next day or two.
This is a nice shot - and I like that it represents your day!

This is quite special. Lots of textures and light

Strong garden claw - makes gardening much easier!

I like it that you take ordinary items and make a great shot out of them. It should silence all the people who say , they can't find anything to shoot anymore.

Very nice composition! I like that it represents your day, too. Great processing.

I agree with Terry, lovely shot made out of an everyday tool!

Well done!

I like this shot -- the POV is quite effective.

Great gardening image, but also a sort of abstract! Love the golden tones which makes the claw look so luxurious! Careful in the garden -- lots of accidents waiting to happen as I learned yesterday!

Great shot of gardening tools. Have fun on your dinner date. I just imagine summer is going to be busy for everyone and we will just have to do what we have to do.

@mamamia @swilde @pflaume @steviepix @timandelke @dakotaburns @june @bailey @nanalisarocks - thanks for the lovely comments on my garden tools - it was a ditch effort to capture something before I forgot.
@maggiemae - thanks Maggiemae - got to have good gardening tools to get the job done. :-)
@sarasdadandmom @genesis_one - thanks Terry and Corrie - one thing I have learned here is that there is always something to capture on camera - and on days I am super busy, there are plenty of flowers, birds and gardening tools to try and make interesting - LOL.
@andrina - thanks Andrina - this made me laugh - it IS Freddie Krueger like, isn't it. My claw is friendly, though! :-)
@sansjuan - thanks Nita - totally agreed - we are all super busy - will post comments as we can. The wedding is taking a lot of time and planning (my son - my only child - is getting married in July) and I have family coming from the UK and of course lots to do to get the garden shaped up and the house spring cleaned (well, summer cleaned). Dinner with our friends was fun. :-)

@taffy - Thanks Taffy - and yes - I have received gardening injuries in the past - much like your splinter. I think one of the most embarrassing was stepping backwards, forgetting the wheelbarrow was there, sitting in it and then toppling backwards. As it happened the neighbors were outside and saw it happen. Only my pride was hurt, with the exception of the scrapes from the rose prunings. I did spend a little time with the tweezers that afternoon.

@jankoos you made me feel much better!!

Really neat composition and shot.

@taffy - so glad - LOL - and hope your finger is better and sans splinter.
@bristolrose - thanks Kathryn.
