Up in the clouds

Soooo - maybe driving 90 miles round trip for an after work hike during the week is a little crazy - I do have to get up at 6am......but when we got to the trail head and hiked straight up for 1.5 miles - this was the view. I was hoping for sunset color - but it was cloudy and we got wet on the way down. Slight crop but otherwise too tired to edit. This was at Mt Rainier.

@grammyn - Thanks Katy - the period when you can hike in the alpine meadows is only a couple of months before the snow covers then in many feet of snow - so have to get up there while we can. We love it.
@maggiemae - ha - thanks Maggiemae - I am tired - but that's OK - have to enjoy the hiking - the season on the mountain is short.
