A little different perspective. This is taken 48 miles (by road) from Paradise where we go hiking. I didn't get many shots on Saturday as I was running errands. I pulled off the side of the road to take this - it was hazy as you can see. Still, around here, and time you can see the mountain, means the weather is good.
I cropped and saturated a little.
@maggiemae - no pines at the lower elevations - mixed - mostly Douglas fir, western hemlock, some cedar, and then lots of alder and maple. When you get up in the higher elevations at the mountain you see pine. East of the mountains it's pine, too. @eyesmile - Thanks Gena. We had all that rain and thunder last week - it's pleasant now - was pretty warm today - chilly enough at night for a light comforter.
Love the cropping and the composition. Gorgeous shot. Jan, I hope you have a great time at the meet this weekend. I wanted to be there so much, can't believe I am missing it by 3 days! I can hardly wait to see what you all have to show us when you get home. Say hello to JudiS for me, tell her I miss her.
