Flower Power

OK - so I had to ETSOOI with this. I had this idea that if I stuck some of the Christmas flowers in little vases and put them on top of the fence, I would get lovely images with bokeh. Well the bokeh is there but the flowers are just not pretty. They were nice in the large vase with greenery and gold sprayed pine cones - but I don't like carnations or chrysanthemums very much. I messed with this in Picasa and tried to make it a little abstract.

I think the flowers are very pretty - nice crisp focus and seeing them mainly from underneath. Good idea for the good bokeh!

Love the bokeh, and the flowers are good in the composition too. The white ones may be a little too much the color of the snow, but still a pleasing image.
