Beets

I have always detested beets for some reason but we picked these up at the farmers market and I figured what the heck give it a try -- cleaned, peeled, sliced, drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper, roasted and yep , , , they're still pretty awful.

I guess the moral of the story is that everything beats beets. Photographically, they seem fairly colorful.

Well - at least you tried. I myself like beets - especially the greens which are far better than spinach in my opinion.
