My son Michael visited on Mother's Day. I took this with his camera using his 50mm fixed lens. I particularly enjoyed talking about photography with him. My other son, Stephen, called and will be home from college early next week.
I visited my mother yesterday and she was asleep when I called, but my father said she had a good mother's day. And her facebook status indicates she's feeling better today than yesterday.
I had a very nice mother's day. I always enjoy Youth Sunday when the high school students conduct the service. I had time to do one of my favorite things in the world: lying in the backyard reading a book and eating popcorn. The weather was perfect. Springtime in the DC area is hard to beat.
I'm used to shooting in raw now, but Michael's camera was set up to take jpgs--it was interesting to see the difference.
