Frontal Wet Iris

The raindrops accentuate the beauty of this Iris--one of the plants that Wendy gave me a couple years ago.

I had trouble deciding which photo to post. This is the one my husband picked. And this is the other other Iris photo I almost posted:

At the risk of offending your husband I will say that, while this one is good, I prefer the depth of the one you almost posted. The black background and out of focus pedal work well in contrast to the crispness and highlights of the water drops on the foreground. Just my viewpoint. We have been enjoying your pictures very much. (N)

Thank you! I am enjoying your photos, too. And I really appreciate your comments. I should trust my own judgment more--I like the other Iris photo more too, but felt like I shouldn't ignore advice that I asked for.
